Sustainable Strawbale Home

Building for the Enduring North Shore.

Carbon-negative walls from regionally sourced straw. A collective of trained local builders ready to raise them.

Our Why

Carbon is a resource, not a debt.

Buildings should actively pull carbon out of the atmosphere instead of adding to it. We manufacture strawbale panels that sequester carbon, provide high-performance R-38 wall assemblies, and keep it local - source straw regionally, hire locally, serve the community.

Straw Detail

Precision Engineering. Organic Soul.

Think SIPs, but instead of foam core, the insulation is dense-packed straw. Fast to install, fire resistant, built from natural materials.

Core Technology

Structural Insulated Straw

Panels for a 900 sq ft home were installed in 2 days by 2 people. The rest of the build is conventional - framers, plumbers, electricians don't need to learn new methods.
